Sgt. Danny Ingram and his partner of 12 years Harry Rezzemini shot in June 2008. Ingram was kicked out of the Army after admitting he was gay. "Speaking up," Ingram said, "was probably the closest I came to actually fulfilling my oath to defend the Constitution in all the six years I served."
