CHICAGO, IL - March 21, 2003: Antiwar demonstrators shut down Chicago's Lake Shore Drive to protest the start of the Iraq war.

Police arrested more then 900 people during the protest. In 2012, the city agreed to pay protesters 12 million dollars to settle a wrongful arrest lawsuit against the city for the police's actions.
