Hundreds of Thousands of Protesters Attend Demonstration at Republican National Convention

NEW YORK, NY - August 29, 2004: Hundreds of thousands of protesters marched past Madison Square Garden and through the streets of Manhattan in what the New York Times called the cities "largest political protest in decades."

The demonstration took place the day before the start of the 2004 Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden.
